Birds around Gairloch, Wester Ross, Scotland, July 2009
The bird-life around Gairloch is great. This shows sanderlings, dunlins, ringed plovers, ravens, common gulls, great black-backed gulls (adult and immature), black-headed gulls, great skuas, common terns, cormorants, a gannet, a young buzzard being 'buzzed' by a herring gull, and a distant view of a golden eagle!
